Kreemo x Lupe Fiasco
"Kreemo is a brand intended for the individual who stands out in society. It is the lifestyle of the person who views and thinks without boundaries. Commonly those who initially attempt to do something diverse are viewed as a nuisance, an annoyance, or an outcast to society. Once they succeed they become a strong influential force. In order to attain significance in the world one must separate himself from “the average Joe.” Kreemo is made for people in society that choose to be significant. People, who choose to go the other route, people who “Beg to Differ.”
Additionally Kreemo provides services in graphic design, video production, and special marketing for artist, event and products."

Team Prolific "Getting Down"
(Artwork by Paul Davey)
"Getting Down" (prod by Izaiah “Daywalker” Demarco) is the next single off of the upcoming EP "The Movement" the single will be out on iTunes Jan 1st 2011. In the Fall of 2010 “Getting Down” was licensed by Alli Sports, Inc. for a skate montage video featuring MTV’s Ryan Sheckler from “My Life with Ryan”. This track is a lot more than just a song; it’s a real statement. Team Pro been going hard all these years but it’s time to make it official who is who in the game. Having earned love & respect on the indie scene Prolific takes their music to the next level which is worldwide. Catchy hook, well written verses full of artists’ authenticity & uniqueness, and ill production by Izaiah “Daywalker” Demarco... This song is a real killer… an anthem that lets the whole world know that the Team Prolific is ready to take over the game. And it’s not a game it’s going down.

Blood Lamp
This Blood Lamp doesn’t look that bloody, but the way you turn it on can be considered gruesome. It only works once, and you need to add of a drop of your blood to activate it! The idea is to stop and think about how badly you need light before you use it. Designer Mike Thompson created the lamp in order to draw attention to how much energy we waste.
Blood Lamp
2009
What if power came at a cost to the individual?
The average American consumes 3383kwh of energy per year. That’s equivalent to leaving the light on in 4 rooms for a whole year. The simple flick of a switch allows us to power appliances and gadgets 24/7 without a thought to where it comes from and the cost to the environment.
For the lamp to work one breaks the top off, dissolves the powder, and uses their own blood to power a simple light. By creating a lamp that can only be used once, the user must consider when light is needed the most, forcing them to rethink how wasteful they are with energy, and how precious it is.

Cookies-N-Cream
SHOUT OUT TO COOKIES-N-CREAM! Their clothing, their mobile store, their team, their STORY is so epic. If you haven't had the opportunity to see them live and in action then you need to stop slacking and get out there. I first came across them at 40oz summer 2010 (photo above), as soon as I seen the truck I had to get a word with one of the people behind this wonder, P Loch and he gave me the overview of the companies come up and mission.
My Cookies-N-Cream tee, I love it thank you P, this summer I'm going to make sure I rock this in some pum-pum shorts and heels ;).
"Cookies -N- Cream is an independent culture brand based out of New York City. The Cookies n Cream brand is one that encompasses two creative outlets – one is clothing and the other is designer toys. In an era of “Me too” clothing brands and toys, we set out to create a brand that draws on our different influences – New York City lifestyle/culture, art, street couture, designer toys, high fashion, music, pop/underground culture just to name a few, all with a distinct personality and attitude of our own."
"Our motto – Stay True."
Their unique truck designs turns heads and stores just love to allow them to park infront due to that, come on with such a to site see who wouldn't? The company was recently featured in Entrepreneur magazine, CRAZY! That's not all either, if you go to their site BakedInNY.com and check out their Lifestyle section you can see where they've been and featured. Support art, support fashion, support businessmen, support staying true to yourself!
Magazine Fiend
I am a FIEND for magazines. I subscribe to many digital and printed magazines from XXL and King to Miss Behave and i-D, to Time Out New York and Inc Magazine. The list goes on, not to mention the random pass bys and buys. Recently I've decided to start a Nicki Minaj magazine collection (yes i am #teamnickiminaj). So far I have three, I have four being shipped including Black Book, Rolling Stone, Fader, and Vibe (I'm so serious). I was also very fortunate to FINALLY acquire the Forbes 400 magazine spread on Warren Buffet and my role model Jay-Z. Plus I had to pick up the VMan magazine spread on Kanye West, I first heard about it on RicciSteez.com and had to see what the fuss was about, the entire magazine itself is pure uncut cocaine! New magazine added to my subscription list.
Is there a magazine you love reading? Tell me what it is and I'll check it out.
