Is Alicia’s Choice In Men Causing Her To Lose Fans?

If you all have been keeping up with Alicia Keys you would know that she has been dating Swizz Beatz who is currently married to Mashonda. Many have accepted Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats Relationship. Others are questioning Alicia Keys authentic as a singer. How can you appreciate ones music when behind closed doors they can be so conniving to steal another women’s husband? Mashonda sent Alicia Keys a letter via Twitter to let her know how she felt:

"After having a great evening with my son and enjoying some fun twit chat, I decided to sign off and get some work done. However, a few hours later I was advised that I should check @aliciakeys twit page. I’ve never reached out to her on twitter before. I feel our issues are a lot more serious than a website conversation. Not to mention that I’ve reached out to her many times in the beginning of this whole thing, as any wife would do. Unfortunately, I never succeeded in getting a response. The 1st time I meet AK, my husband introduced us to each other at an event. ( I have no choice but to call him my husband, until he is not anymore) In the messages that I sent to her (AK), I made it very clear that on the contrary of what she might be hearing, I am still married to my husband, living with him and just had a child. Its been two years and I still have not received a response. What I do receive, is constant displays of selfishness and disconcern to me and my son.

I was a fan of AK’s last album, we were both signed to J Records and I always checked up on her projects. I sang her songs and admired her for creating Superwoman and Karma, I would never deny her, her talent. I believed in her until I found out she was possibly sleeping with my husband. The affair was denied by both, until it was finally admitted months later.

Already I can hear some of you saying ” why are u blaming her, You cant make someone leave their wife, You cant break something thats broken”. Well, my marriage was not broken, as far as I knew we were celebrating our sons birth and getting ready to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary . Call it blind love, whatever. I call it being a devoted wife.. As far as me blaming her and not blaming him, thats false. Me and my husband have worked out our differences. We are in a good place as people and as parents. I accept his choices and I am comfortable enough with myself to move on. I am so very blessed in many ways.

My concern with AK is no longer the fact that she assisted in destroying a family but that she has the audacity to make these selfish comments about love and wanting to be with someone, even after knowing their situation. How is this the same Superwoman that I sang out loud with in my truck? I ask myself sometimes.

If you are reading this Alicia, let me start by saying, you know what you did. You know the role you played and you know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage. You know that I asked you to step back and let me handle my family issues. Issues that you helped to create.
Im not saying everything was perfect all the time but no relationship is perfect. We made a vow to God and I believe you should have respected that, as a woman. I know you owe me or my son nothing but I just wish you would’ve handled things more carefully. I’m not judging you, I put you and the whole situation in the hands of God, the Higher Power. Just know that as a woman, I expected so much more from you. I never had intentions on reaching out to you this way but after reading your twits tonight, and the constant disregard, you left me no choice. I feel that after 1 and a half years of you hiding this affair and acting like it doesnt exist, that now is the time to confront it, since you talk so openly about it now

This is not a publicity stunt, I dont have a record coming out. I just need to close this chapter in my life and that means confronting our issues. There is a small child involved. His dad loves him to death and he wants to spend more time with him but hes afraid because he knows we don’t have a relationship. This is my main concern. My son NEEDS his dad and I NEED to be comfortable with you. For him!

I know many will see my point and many will not be able to look into what’s real because they only want to see Alicia Keys the celebrity, not the human. This is not for the “people”, this is for you. Like I said I was left no choice but to reach out to you this way. By now, Im sure you want to find a balance in this as well.

I read your tweets tonight and I felt they were very insensitive. You have no idea how much pain I was caused because of this affair. Its baffling to me that you don’t understand what I might have gone through with this situation. I dont consider myself a victim anymore, Ive learned alot from this! I just ask you to try and be a bit more realistic and delicate to the situation, at least until my divorce is final. I felt me attending the party would have been a starting point for us, since you shook my hand after I offered it, but I suppose I was wrong.

If its so, that you and my husband are meant to be together, then God bless you both and I hope you never have to deal with what I did. I would not wish it on my worst enemy. If you two being together forever is the case, its more of a reason for us to get along, because I’m not going anywhere. Theres a child to be raised.

To answer your tweet, choose smart over spark. Sparks burn everyone, be smart! Its simple actually, just think of the shoe being on the other foot.

Stay blessed and lets work this thing out with respect and dignity."

Sidebar: I personally don’t agree with anyone sleeping with a married person. I despise cheaters and for the reason you have lost a fan here Alicia. We as fans pay are the ones who put money in the Artist pockets. I cannot not buy an Alicia Keys album knowing she throws lavish parties for a married man..

Chris Brown’s Interview With Larry King

If you tuned into the radio, watched television, or read the blogs today you have heard some form of crisitim due to Chris Brown saying he doesn’t remember what happened. Chris reached out to let everyone know the real deal:

"As I have said several times previously, I am ashamed of and sorry for what happened that night and I wish I could relive that moment and change things, but I can’t. I take full responsibility for my actions. What I have to do now is to prove to the world that this was an isolated incident and that is not who I am and I intend to do so by my behavior now and in the future.

That 30 seconds of the interview they used of me was taken from a one hour interview during which that same question was asked something like 4 or 5 times — and when you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said.

The first four times – or how ever many times it was – I gave the same answer — which was that I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night. I said it was not right for me and it really wasn’t fair to Rihanna. The fifth time – or whatever it was – I just misspoke. I was asked, “Do you remember doing it?” and I said, “No.”

Of course I remember what happened. Several times during the interview, my mother said that I came to her right afterwards and told her everything. But it was and still is a blur. And yes, I still can’t believe it happened because it is not me or who I am or is what happened like anything I have ever done before." -Chris Brown

Here is a preview of the interview Chris Brown recently did with CNN’s Larry King. This is going to be a real interesting interview. You know Larry King don’t play when it comes to those questions. The interview comes on Wednesday, September 2nd at 9pm on CNN.

I Never Called Myself The New King Of Pop

Kanye has taken to his blog to refute the rumors of his alleged rant calling himself the “New King of Pop” after Michael Jackson’s death. ‘Ye says that’s all 100% false. YBF purposely didn’t post the whole charade because it never sounded that believable in the first place and there was never a credible source attached. Kanye’s statement:

“I was just listening to Wendy Williams’ [radio show] and heard some quote about me saying I’m the new King of Pop,” he wrote. “Not only did I not say that, I haven’t said anything. It makes me feel bad that obviously I made people feel that I would be corny enough to say something so whack after the passing of an idol, a legend and, more than that, a human being with feelings and family.

“It scares me to think what people will believe, without even a source,” he continued. “Any random person can type something on the Internet and then the world believes it. I don’t talk to press or do TV or do promotions of any sort. I’ve stopped chasing and buying into fame. Fame is like cigarettes with no surgeon general warning. It destroys most people as it did to the true and only King of Pop. We exploit ourselves and eat our own egos ’till there is nothing left. I have a feeling that this won’t be the last false statement with my name on it, but this will be the last time I defend myself. I’m done.”

The comments he’s speaking about hit the net earlier this week and were pretty crazy. The rumors had him saying nobody could touch his album sales or talent and, therefore, it’s time for a new King of Pop to take the reigns and that he is deserving of it. But clearly Mr. West never said any of it. So there you have it.

From Bolly to Holly Freida Pinto

Indian actress Freida Pinto Made is 23 years old, a former model from Bombay who auditioned for melodramatic Bollywood roles, she’s going Hollywood with her film debut, playing a child of the ghetto in Danny Boyle’s "Slumdog Millionaire"

How hard is it to break into India’s film industry?
Frieda Pinto: It’s really difficult. You have to have a godfather or parents who can get you in. I got into modeling for the visibility factor, hoping that portals would open up for me to act. I did a lot of print because people found me too skinny in India to do television. We have the voluptuous, full-figured woman thing. People say I need to get a boob job, but I’m just comfortable the way I am.

Is Bollywood as sleazy as Hollywood is?
Frieda Pinto: Three or four years back, I was auditioning for a film and I met this man who was like, “We can be good friends,” with a twinkle in his eye. I knew where that was coming from, and it didn’t feel right.

Would you ever do nudity or a sex scene?
Frieda Pinto: I don’t think I’d have an issue [doing a love scene], but it all depends on the director—what kind of work he’s done in the past. In India, I probably wouldn’t do something like that; it’s kind of taboo. It usually gets cut off at the censorship board level, so what’s the point of having shot it?

What’s the best way for a guy to approach you?
Frieda Pinto: Back in college, if boys did the most stupid thing, like compose a silly song, I’d listen. It could be something really stupid, like a rap for all I care.

Have you ever used your acting abilities to manipulate men?
Frieda Pinto: Hmm… [Laughs.] If you have it, you gotta use it.

Pharisee?

VIBE: What are your demons?

CHRIS BROWN: My mom had a boyfriend that was abusive domestically so watching that as a kid, it used to haunt me. Not haunt—but eat at me. I used to want to really hurt the dude.

Why do you think she stayed with him?

Probably ’cause she loved him. I hated him. That was my demons I was fighting. That’s why in relationships I vow not to be that person because seeing that as a kid, you inherit what you see, so I promised myself, I’m not gonna be that dude. I’m never gonna be that person that takes the argument that far. I wouldn’t wanna put a female or child in that position, being that terrified.

Cute Shirt Kim

I dead ass love this shirt =]

Not Good Enough?

Nicole Scherzinger is the only one who really sings in the Pussyca Dolls, so why does she need them? Well I dont know if you know, but she had her own solo album, and it didnt even make that much compared to the Pussycat Dolls albums. So Im guessing she isnt good enough to stand out on her own and go off single like Beyonce, or Omarion, even like Marques Houstin. Eh whatever, she's hot, and i love this song

Men In Power

I love these men. Before you say "oh gosh not another a groupie," I don't love them because they're rappers, to me it's what they've accomplished and you they are. These are my reasons why.

Fabolous. He's my baby father always and forever (lol). He's from my borough (Brooklyn). But why I love him is this, his swagg is ridiculous and this is what swagg means to me because there are asses out there screwing up they face to that statement, swagg to me is how you carry yourself, how you address yourself and handle yourself, it is the image and vibe you portray for others to view and interpret. Ok? He walks around with such confidence as if making the statement that no one is better than him, but yet he remains humble and you never really hear anything negative about him or what he is doing. He is a great lyricist, his punch lines are so clever so slick, verses by most artist could are mini stories, but he has the talent of shoving a story in a bar (a bar is a unit of measure (time keepin). which is every 4th beat). Every time i listen to his songs I find myself randomly laughing at his wittyness. That's his talent and he has perfected it. He created his own clothing line that is so official, and even though its mainly a mens line, girls even buy.

T.I. He's from Atlanta, and more than crunk stripper pussy popping music artist. Out of the south I respect T.I., Lil Wayne, and Ludacris the most for being from the south and not only speaking about frivolous things. When he stepped on the scene and said "I'm the King of the South" many had claimed it, or even laughed at him for saying it, but he IS the king of the south. He has paved his way and stood out more than most would've thought. And once he did show the world that what he said is word, he just got better. His swagg is so crazy as well, he can wear everything and it fits him so perfectly, I love his 3 piece suit game, I think he is the only other artist who gives Diddy a run for his money when it comes to that department. He is well a spoken person, excellent vocabulary and is a church man, because despite what he gets faced with he holds the faith, as he said "wonder how I face years and I'm still chillin, easy, let go and let God deal with it."

Jay-Z Also another Brooklynite, I've been listening and following him since I was young listening to the "Reasonable Doubt" album. He came out on some "I'm from the streets, and it wasnt pretty, but I did what I had to do, this is what I did, and this is how I made it." He has built an entire "dynasty," and I love that he uses that word, because empires crumble and fall, but dynasty [like my money] last [3] lifetimes (hova's words). There has been so many people to this day that states Jay-Z is wack, even artist like Jazzo try to throw him under a bus, but even if you think he's a wack artist, old man, washed up, a lame and liar from the start, he has built his on ladder to the top. He is part of Def Jam, one of the most prestigious labels, he created RockaFella records, signs music artists, has a clothing line, owns part of a basketball team, and has built up a world wide buzz. He has more than earned everything he has today, and I think people should hop off his shaft, hate him I don't care, but you damn sure have to respect him and his grind.

I didn't mention anything about their looks because that's the last thing that matters, Bill Gates isn't attractive but he is a self made man, and that's exactly what I see in these men, self made. When I listen to any of their music, or read about them I feel motivated to do something. I love a man who is so on point that he makes me want to be on my grind. Their swagg portrays this "I can take care of myself, my business and you." They handle their business and career in a top notch no flaws manner, they have a game plan for everything they do, whether its Jay-Z "retiring" at his prime so he can't be labeled as falling off, T.I. who turned profit by basing a album on his mistakes so others can be inspired and grow wisdom, or Fabolous freestyling constantly building up hype to what his next album will produce. So with all this being said, I'm happy to be a groupie.

Motivating Lines

"when you in the lead you dont care who's trailing" - Fabolous "BET Awards Cypher"

"had a vision in my head, all i had to do was get it out" - T.I. "Slide Show"

"this is nothing to me, difficult takes a day impossible takes a week" - Jay-Z "Sierra Leione Remix"

Souljah Boy over Bow Wow

Yeah so I know they're "beef" is said and done with but I was listening to "Turn My Swagg On Remix" with Soulja Boy featuring Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, And the Fabulous Loso, and as I'm listening i thought to myself, what hot artists wanted to jump on bow wow's songs for a remix? I remember Bow Wow talking some mess about how he doesn't have to work a day in his life, or his kids, and I'm like your such a spoiled LAME. If someone presented me with some lyrics that were written by T.I., a hot beat and told me I'd get paid for it, you damn right I'mma do it, but that's so simple boring and plain, and honestly I think its sad, your idolized and known in the media for someone elses' talent. At the end of the day and the end of Soulja Boy's career he made his way to the top, he made his beats, he wrote his songs, he created a name, put his peoples on and this alone give him the right to pop shit about artist who rent they cars, and considering he did it and has been doing it since he was young Bow Wow isn't even in a category to fuck with Soulja Boy. But hey that's just my random opinion.

Beyonce on Ebony

My dime ass role model got married last year on April 4th, my birthday, and now this year for April she's on the cover of Ebony looking oh so sexy, she looks like she trying to re-live her foxy Cleopatra days from Austin Powers. She has also given a brief interview to the magazine. Here is the highlight of the interview for you.

On who is the real Beyonce:

“I’m a daughter, I’m a friend, I’m a wife, I’m a sister. All those things first. I’m artist. I’m a businesswoman. I’m multifaceted. I’m a lover. I’m inspired by love. I make decisions from the heart.”

On decisions about what projects to do, her priority is not money but personal growth:

“I turn down million dollar offers all the time because it’s something that does not feel true for what I’m trying to say. I have to be passionate about it. Love inspires and growth inspires me…If it is not going to be iconic, something I can love 10 years from now, I’ve learned I should not waste my time with it.”

On Her and Jay-Z business dealings:

“He was very successful before I met him and I was very successful before I met him. So we have so much respect for each other, and respect for each other artistically. We are very close friends, and I believe he is the ultimate artist and he has the same feelings for me.”

On being asked to describe herself as a wife:

“I don’t know how to talk about it because I don’t like to talk about it. But I have a great example of a great wife, and that’s my mother. And I have great friends around me that have been married, so I’m lucky to have really good examples. And a great husband.”

On how Messy she can get at times:

“I’m a little messy. Oh, yeah. Whenever I’m out in public, I have to be put together. When I get home, I rebel against it and I don’t want to take care of anything. I drop it. I’m relaxed. I don’t have any shoes on. No makeup. My purse is in the kitchen. I think that is most difficult thing for him. He’s very, very organized. I’m extremely organized when I’m working, and I work so much that when I get home I don’t want to think about anything.”

On Retiring:

“I’ve worked so hard on my craft, and I will never stop. I will never retire. I love it way too much.”
