Remy of Adeen Magazine

I meet Remy back in February at the Hudson Hotel, where Socially Awkward Magazine was doing shoots all day for their online site; he and Great Scott were talking about the BET Rip The Runway which they were styling for, I couldn't help but be nosey and ask for his business card to later do an interview.

On his business card it had a website, adeenmagazine.blogspot.com and I absolutely love it. The site was founded about a year ago, and is ran by him and his brother Jovany who is part of Young Crafters. "Adeen is going to be themed off cartoons at first because that's where most our inspirations come from, but as we grow and become successful we are going to go into more high fashion," states Remy who is also one of the co-founders of Red Ribbon Army. They both do their own thing, but it helps when it boils down to spreading their word.

I urge you to check out their site, they currently have some samples of pins that they designed *takes out credit card* I'm waiting to be able to buy one. They're highly interesting, their blog is a great read, and their interviews are always entertaining. In my honest opinion, Adeen Magazine makes my top three favorite blogs to read daily along with KeepingItJazzy.com and FashionManifesto.com.

We meet up in Soho to do the interview in a little coffee restaurant but two guys were bickering, so we decided to do it outside. Check out the interview with Rembrandt Duran of Adeen Magazine. Enjoy!

Ride by Ciara ft Ludacris

All I got to say, Ciara is a bad bitch, period.

Trailer and Interview to "Boliva"

Once again Jaison Bourne is bringing you something to kill the boredem, catch your attention, and leave your mind blown. Check out this interview I did with him, Stiflr and Reela on the short film "Boliva", based on real events.

Aston Martin Gauntlet Concept

Aston Martin’s main goal in designing the new concept was to create a design character that outmost respects the impressive history of the brand and combine the timeless lines of the past Aston Martins with the modern interpretation of the existing styling, and they did so with the new Gauntlet. So vicious!

Throwback: "Its Gonna Be Me" N Sync

A couple of days ago me and my friends were going down 90's music videos lane playing Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, and "Pretty Fly For A White Guy" (I don't know who's the artist). I think we watched a bunch of N Sync videos and realized that they were so ill! But the outfits and hair was so crazy, shake my head. Well this song has been stuck in my head ever since that day.

DJ Castro

If you're a party goer from NYC chances are you've been to a party DJ Castro was playing at, he's EVERYWHERE! It's understandable why though, he's absolutely amazing on the turn tables, he makes it look like childs play. Haven't seen him in action yet? Well check out his site castroplanet.com and stay posted to upcoming events you can catch him at, and make sure you follow him on twitter of course @Castro718. He doesn't stop at DJing though, you can catch him on the radio, online, and BCAT hosting two radio shows on Sunday, plus he's bringing back Flex in Brooklyn. Everytime I speak to him it's always something new, I suggest ya'll check him out. Enjoy!

The Marion Hyper Sub

The Marion Hyper Sub can dive completely under the water like a submarine as well as hang out on top of the surface. The boat is capable of high-speed travel on top of the water with a top speed of 75km an hour. Under water the boat can dive to a depth of 250 feet allowing passengers to look up to the water’s surface above. The boat is in the prototype phase but has already made several successful test dives including one lasting 1 hour and 45 minutes using only the cabin air while under water. An 880hp engine drives the boat on the surface and under the water on dives.

Another 34D Preview

I finished the last tshirt for the line, and I decided eh why not give you a little glimpse. 34D coming this month.

Marvelous

While I was at work I bumped into my friend Ed. We haven't seen each other in a hot minute, so when he showed me the varsity jacket his friend, who was accompanied with him, was wearing with a logo I made for him like two years ago I was in shock. I didn't know what to say, it felt good seeing my work/design on something tangible. Check out some of the pictures below.

Oh did I mention Ed models? Check out a video he's in.

3 In The Morning

Just getting home, had a long day, and as I walked home I had some random thoughts.

-The usb to my external hardrive is broken, I was suppose to release the first two interviews of a series of interviews I have, but I'm stuck because everything is on my external hardrive. The first two interviews are @Castro718 and @Remdelarem. I'm going to buy a new cord this weekend, but this is a weird looking usb "/

-I completed the last shirt for the first season of 34D and I ordered the shirts for printing as well. This first season will have 9 shirts, all the other seasons will have 6. My lookbook shoot for the shirts will be in about two weeks and the shirts will be released about a week later.

-I miss my Dad! I'm contemplating on getting a tattoo for him, I already have one for my brother and mom. He's the one person on this earth who constantly gives and gives to me, even when he doesn't has it. He's always sacrificed for me, and it took me a lot of growing up to realize I've been hurting him for so many years, by being heartless at times, insensitive, spoiled, selfish and inconsiderate. Well while I still have him on this earth I'm going to spend more time with him, call him more often, and now that I have a steady job I'm going to look out for him. I love that man and I know I will never meet another human being that loves me as much as he does, and until the day I have a child, the feeling is mutal.

-Rainy days never depress me. Every rainy day memory I have is associated with happiness and fun times, even romantic times. Kamliah, Kelicia, and I use to play in the rain, or Judy, Shakeema and I would race from the playground home, I even remember being about seven or eight sitting in the window at 5AM in the morning watching lighting with my older brother Desmond. The only sad rainy day was the night my mother passed, it was storming outside, but the next day was so beautiful you couldn't even tell there was a storm, the sky was a new blue and the trees were a new green.

-I think I've become cold hearted... anyone got a match? lol. I'm so occupied in work, designing, and school that I in a way detached myself from caring about certain things....I think when I get my puppy my mood will lift

-My first car HAS to be a 1970/60 mustang, I love old cars, and everytime I pass this old mustang on my way home I get inspired to grind harder.

I think thats it for the random thoughts. Goodnight....morning

"Sometimes you just feel tired, you feel weak.
And when you feel weak you feel like you just
wanna give up. But you gotta search within
you, try to find that inner strength and just
pull that shit outta you and get that motivation
to not give up and not be a quitter, no matter
how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face."

T-Shirt War

Rhett and Link are two North Carolinians who like to have a good time. Using over 200 shirts, they produced this music video for a song off of their album which you can buy here. This war is really dope, maybe we can start a “Make T-Shirts not War” campaign with these guys. Enjoy the video

Nicki Minaj "Massive Attack"

So this video is absolutely horrible, I'm not scared to admit it, but Nicki damn sure looks good as hell in it, do you guys still think that's a butt pad? I don't, if you pay attention to her before and after pictures, she's just gotten a lot bigger, throughout her whole body, not just her butt. So yeh, I recommend you watch this on mute =]
